Hello, my name is Anne-Marie Morrison (MBACP, DipHE, DipCounsPsych).
I am the founder and lead counsellor of the RoseMary. I am a BACP-qualified and certified counsellor, Clinically Supervised, ICO-registered, GDPR-protected, and a registered business.
For over twenty-one years, my career has been completely dedicated to helping others. I began my professional journey as a Beauty and Massage therapist, where I loved fixing sore muscles and helping clients feel good on the outside. However, my deeper aspiration to support people emotionally was still unmet.
Driven by a lifelong admiration for therapeutic work and my personality trait to achieve it, I leapt into five years of intensive psychology and counselling studies, completing specialised placements before qualifying as a professional counsellor. This has been an incredibly inspirational, fulfilling, and amazing journey of personal and professional development.
Caring for and deeply understanding people’s worries is innate to me. Having overcome my own challenges, healed my wounds, and grown into the person I aspired to be, I truly understand how it feels to be where you may be finding yourself now. I will combine that deep personal empathy with advanced professional qualifications to support you on your own journey of becoming, overcoming and being who you aspire to be.
